Marya Sabir is a graduate student in the National Insitutes of Health Oxford–Cambridge Scholars Program. Her research focuses on neurodegenerative diseases, with a particular emphasis on rare lysosomal free sialic acid storage disorder. Outside the lab, Marya is passionate about science policy and advocacy, working to bridge the gap between research and public policy.
